In this video, I take you through setting up “goal tracking” on your WordPress contact forms using Google Analytics. It’s really easy to do and works with pretty much every contact form plugin available. To track a form you simply need to:
- Create a thank you page for your forms. This is just a simple WordPress page with a message like “thanks for sending us a message”
- Set your form to redirect to this page after someone completes the form.
- Add a destination goal in Google Analytics that’s set to your new thank you page
