Quick and easy video on how to add an image to a sidebar in WordPress without using a plugin.
It's a very simple process which goes something like this:
1) Create a new post
2) Add an image and setup as you like using the “Add Media” button
3) Copy the code generated into a text widget on your WordPress sidebar.
Hope it works out for you. If you get stuck post a question in the comments.

Hi Alex, if you check out my website http://www.bound-for-eternuty.co.uk you’ll see I have made some progress towards creating six pages with a couple of subpages. However, I didn’t use any particular theme and now I would like to use textures and coloured backgrounds behind the text in the middle of the pages. Am I able to do this without having to revert to using a theme?
Hi Mike,
